The capital of Spain is a lively and exciting place to be. I moved here in the fall of 2018 and have truly enjoyed living the Spanish lifestyle for the past 18 months. After many miles of walking, eating tapas, and meeting foreigners from all over the world, I’ve explored the many neighborhoods of the city and Here’s what to do while you spend a week discovering Madrid.
Best time to visit with great weather: April-June and September-October
The time frame of April-June is ideal as spring turns into summer. It is not too warm and tourist season is in its height in June. The month of September into October is also a great option since tourist season ends in August and the temperatures begin to drop.

Hotel RIU rooftop – another good reason to stay at this hotel! This rooftop is amazing and has a clear walkway
